I’M BANKSY. 25 October – 19 November

Kim Guthrie

25 October – 19 November 2011

Opening night Thursday 3 November from 6pm (projections start at sunset)

“I like the idea that the enigmatic Banksy might be any one of the ordinary folk
we encounter daily” – Kim Guthrie

Propaganda Window has worked alongside photographer Kim Guthrie to bring his new portrait work I’M BANKSY to the streets as an outdoor, three channel video projection at 110 Franklin Street.
In this series Kim has produced a startling range of portraits by exploiting a simple idea of identity and infamy. The possible Banksy incarnations that Kim suggests in I’M BANKSY vary greatly, but that is only part of it.  It is Kim’s talent of capturing such dramatic and static intimacy from each of his subjects that evokes something beyond a one liner T-Shirt.
Limited edition I’M BANSKY postcard sets are also available for sale. Visit the I’M BANSKY blog from October 25.

I’M BANKSY projects every night from sunset at 110 Franklin Street and will also feature in the upcoming Propaganda Window (Fed Square) November compilation.
